The NBA All-Star Game is supposed to be simple: show up, smile, throw a few flashy passes, and maybe try a little defense. Maybe not, everyone claps and everyone goes home.
But this year? Drama checked in early.
Enter Anthony Edwards. Loud, honest and zero filter.
Ant looked around at the All-Star festivities and apparently noticed two very tall, very famous absences: Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic.
Anthony Edwards:

And he had thoughts.
Edwards basically called them out for not showing up to play in the All-Star Game.
“Think about it though, like no shade towards Luka and Jokic,” Edwards said. “They two of the best players in the league. They ain’t trying to play in no All-Star game.”
In Game 1, he had 13 points, 11 in Game 2 and eight in Game 3. Clearly Edwards felt he tried and showed out in Los Angeles Sunday night.
“It’s a step in the right direction,” Edwards said on the NBC broadcast. “That’s how that is. We chose to compete today and we came out on top … I ain’t gonna lie, Wemby set the tone. He came out playing hard. And you know, we had to follow that, and we had to pick it up as a team. And we did that.”
The funniest part? This is exactly why people love Anthony. He says what others are thinking. No corporate speech, no media-trained shrug.
Will Luka and Jokic respond? Probably not. They’ll let their regular season stats do the talking.
But one thing is clear: if Anthony Edwards is at the All-Star Game, he expects a full house. No load management allowed!
