Cardi B has another embarrassing accident on her hectic tour, nearly falling into a trap door. During her performance in Seattle last night, the 33-year-old rapper, who is currently on her 12th gig of the Little Miss Drama tour, fell.
Cardi’s most recent drama occurred during her energetic performance in the hit song Press. The mother of two was spotted kicking her leg in the air as the trap door behind her opened. She was wearing a glittery red jumpsuit.
However, Cardi seemed to be wobbly on her feet since she stepped back, which caused her to tumble. The crowd could be heard yelling as the Bodak Yellow hitmaker made the mistake in a video that was shared on social media.
Cardi, however, then vehemently responded to criticism regarding her tour. She said in a long statement:
“The fact of the matter is, so far every single show of mine has been sold out.
“Packed from top to bottom! They said I wasn’t gonna commit after I gave birth, they said I wasn’t gonna take it seriously, but I take it very seriously.
“I perform for two hours and don’t complain.. not only do I treat my shows like concerts, I treat them like parties and have a good time wit my people that why I get REAL reviews from REAL attendees whether that’s my fans, celebrities, or just people that wanna have a good time. Thank you!!”
Cardi was spotted falling backwards while dancing sensuously in red lingerie a little more than a week prior. Cardi straddled the back of a white chair in the video, showing off her curves. However, when she lowered herself to the ground, the chair gave way beneath her, causing her to fall to the ground.
To the cheers of the audience, Cardi leaped back up after joking off the fall.
