If there’s one thing the internet loves, it’s unexpected celebrity couples and slightly chaotic fashion choices. And recently, both showed up at the same time thanks to Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson.
Hudson popped up at an event wearing what people are now calling the “rope dress.” Yes, an actual outfit made of ropes.
And of course, the dress was doing exactly what the internet notices first. It showed off plenty of side profile, including some very noticeable sideboob. Subtle? Not really. Memorable? Absolutely.
The 24-year-old girlfriend of legendary football coach Bill Belichick, 73, attended the 2026 Maine Fishermen’s Forum on Saturday to ‘elicit conversation’ about something she describes as the Gulf of Maine’s ‘sexiest problem.’
Hudson wore the unique dress, which was made from 36lbs of recovered rope off Hart Island in Port Clyde, to raise awareness about abandoned, lost or discarded fishing equipment that remains in the marine environment and traps marine life, which is known as ‘Ghost Gear.’
She collaborated with sustainable fashion designer Runaa Ray on the outfit as well as a team of volunteers for Rozalia Project – which has brought over 95,000 fishermen, scientists, environmentalists and other experts together to help tackle oceanic pollution.
Prior to the Fishermen’s Forum, Hudson has had a quiet few months with Belichick since the end of the college football season, where his University of North Carolina team failed to make the postseason in his first year in charge.
Still, Hudson’s look definitely did its job. It got people talking, it grabbed headlines, and it reminded everyone that bold fashion always wins on the internet, especially when it involves a rope dress and a little strategic sideboob.
At the end of the day, the outfit may not be everyone’s style, but one thing is certain: if the goal was to break the internet for a moment, mission accomplished.
