Cop Christian Madsen Arrested Over $14k Overtime Scam While Spending Time With Boss-lover Jaime Eason

Well, well, well. Nothing says “hard at work” like billing overtime while allegedly boo’d up with your boss. Meet Florida’s finest headline maker, Christian Madsen.

According to reports, Madsen was arrested over a $14k overtime scam. That’s right. Fourteen thousand dollars. For hours he reportedly did not work, instead of clocking in, he was apparently clocking quality time with his boss-lover, Jaime Eason, the Chief of Patrol Support at Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Romance is beautiful, payroll fraud? Not so much.

Authorities say Madsen submitted more than 200 erroneous overtime hours. Two hundred. That’s not a small “oops.” That’s a full-blown side hustle. Most people struggle to get approved for one extra hour. This man allegedly built a whole fantasy work schedule.

Imagine filing overtime paperwork while not actually being at work. Bold, audacious, confident and maybe too confident.

While the office was probing the alleged fraud, it learned that Madsen spent a chunk of the supposed overtime hours at the home of JSO Chief of Patrol Support Jaime Eason — one of his higher-ups.

After the three-week internal investigation, the department concluded that Madsen “intentionally submitted falsified overtime claims” for various purported traffic assignments, raking in over $14,000 in extra pay between December 2025 and February 2026, according to a press release shared on Facebook.

Jacksonville Sheriff TK Waters confirmed that Madsen and Eason were engaged in a romantic relationship, but he said it was “unclear” how long they’d been together.

Waters announced at a press conference that Eason, whom he promoted to Chief of Patrol Support in 2022, “made the decision to resign” after a “long conversation in my office.”

The sheriff said that, to the best of their knowledge, Eason wasn’t aware of Madsen’s alleged scheme. He noted she wasn’t in charge of approving his timesheet.

This is one wild sexual and overtime scam scandal that has hit the police department kind courtesy of Christian Madsen and Jaime Eason.

Waters insisted that the onus fell on Madsen, who threw away an 11-year career with the sheriff’s office.

“Our collective belief in openness, transparency, and accountability outweighs any personal allegiance to JSO employees, especially any that violate the public’s trust,” Waters said.

Madsen was suspended after his arrest, but Waters said the office is still seeking termination.

He was charged with grand theft, organized fraud and official misconduct.

Let this be a lesson: if you’re going to claim overtime, maybe actually work it, because spreadsheets don’t lie, and payroll departments love receipts.

In the end, what was supposed to be secret quality time allegedly turned into headline time. Florida stays undefeated when it comes to wild stories, and this one? It definitely clocked in.
