Floyd Mayweather Sued Over $105k Unpaid Charter Jet Bill To The Caribbean

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is being sued over an unpaid charter jet bill totaling a very specific and very loud $105,690. Yes, six figures for a flight to the Caribbean. Apparently even luxury trips come with receipts, and people who actually want to get paid.

According to reports, the private jet company is claiming Floyd enjoyed the flight but somehow forgot the part where you settle the bill. You know, the tiny detail at the end where money leaves your account and goes to someone else. Minor stuff.

Now let’s pause for a second. This is Floyd Mayweather we’re talking about. The man who built an entire brand around being rich. Flashy cars, stacks of cash, shopping sprees that look like Olympic events. So hearing that he skipped out on a $105K payment feels like finding out a chef forgot how to boil water.

That lawsuit, filed Friday in Los Angeles County and obtained by The Daily Mail, accuses Mayweather, his ‘jewelry consultant’ friend Jona Rechnitz and others of stiffing Jet Set Aircraft for a $105,690 charter flight to Turks and Caicos back in September.

Jet Set Aircraft, the plaintiff in the lawsuit, is seeking the full cost for the flight, as well as punitive damages in an amount to be proven at trial.

The 49-year-old Mayweather’s legal problems have been mounting in 2026 amid allegations of unpaid bills. Despite earning a reported $1 billion in the ring, the Michigan native and Nevada resident was sued in February by the owner of his luxury New York City condo for $330,000.

He signed a lease in December 2024 but he stopped paying rent in July 2025, according to a lawsuit filed in February.

Still, the idea of “Money” Mayweather being chased over unpaid money is just too ironic for people to ignore. It’s like calling yourself “The Chef” and then burning toast. The branding alone is taking a hit.

Legal drama aside, this is just another reminder that no matter how rich or famous you are, bills will find you. They always do. And if they don’t pay, well, lawsuits start knocking like an unwanted guest.

So for now, the lesson is simple: if you’re going to live the luxury life, make sure the luxury life is fully paid for.
