Taylor Rooks Jumps Around In Prime Studio After Hawks Victory Over Knicks

Woman in a red top on a TV set, mouth wide open in surprised/excited expression.

If you thought the craziest thing about a one-point game was the score, think again. Because after the Atlanta Hawks pulled off a dramatic 109–108 win over the New York Knicks, the real show started in the studio. Enter Taylor Rooks. Calm, composed, professional Taylor Rooks.

Yes, Rooks was out there going nuts in the Prime studio like she just hit the game-winning shot herself. And honestly, can you blame her? That game had more drama than a reality TV reunion episode. One point, final seconds, fans stressed and heart rates through the roof. It was chaos in the best way possible.

Now picture this: studio lights, cameras rolling, analysts trying to keep it together and Rooks just bouncing with excitement like someone just told her taxes were canceled forever. It was beautiful, relatable. It was also probably not in the script.

The high definition cameras of the NBA on Prime studio captured the thrill within the studio and ensured it replayed hilariously slow. CJ McCollum just came back from his New York trip after erasing Trae Young’s villainous persona there. He then proceeded to show who’s in charge in Atlanta. It had, Taylor Rooks, a Georgia native, sort of defend a moment of dropping her neutrality on the job.

The clip which amassed thousands of views showed the exact moment Rooks, looking rather stunning in a red number, is silently screaming and pounding the desk at the game-winner. She even jumped all over the studio and high-fived Dirk Nowitzki and Udonis Haslem. Someone in the studio also said they didn’t need to guess which team she was supporting.

When the Prime crew replayed her reaction in slow motion, Rooks had a slight defense. “Oh listen now, I’m unbiased but when in Gwinnett County, we up.”

Of course, there’s always that one person online saying, “She needs to act more professional.”

In the end, the Hawks got the win, the Knicks got heartbreak, and Taylor Rooks gave us a highlight that had nothing to do with the court.

And honestly? She might’ve stolen the show.

109–108 is exciting, but studio celebrations? That’s a different level of entertainment.
