The intense rivalry between Stephen A. Smith and Jaylen Brown has just reached a new height.
The Celtics player responded to remarks made about him by the ESPN broadcaster on his live stream over the weekend. In a video that you will need to watch to believe, he made it quite evident that he and SAS are not good.
Regarding Smith disparaging him, JB stated:
“F— Stephen A … Stephen A, Stephen B, Stephen C. My offer still stands: You want me to be quiet and stop streaming … well I want you to be quiet and get off these networks. Because you’re not using your platform to do real journalism.”
In essence, JB’s remarks on his stream that this season is his “favorite” have drawn criticism from SAS, even though Boston was eliminated from the playoffs early and fellow player Jayson Tatum was injured.
Jaylen fueled his rage by calling Smith a “clown” and claiming that he shouldn’t identify as a journalist because all he does is run his mouth for “clickbait.”
Regardless of your stance, the conflict is far from resolved.
