If there’s one person who understands the assignment every single summer, it’s Livvy Dunne. The former gymnast just reminded the internet that retirement from college sports does not mean retirement from breaking timelines.
Livvy celebrated four years of “still making waves” with Sports Illustrated by dropping 2026 SI Swimsuit thirst traps that immediately caused phones to overheat. At this point, SI Swimsuit and Livvy go together like Instagram and unnecessary relationship advice.
For the 2026 cover shoot, Livvy gave fans four different looks because apparently one viral bikini photo simply wasn’t enough chaos for the internet.
The first look featured her in a white bikini that basically screamed, “Yes, I know exactly what I’m doing.” Clean, simple and dangerous.
Then came the white cover-up paired with bikini bottoms, which is fashion’s way of saying, “I’m technically covered, but not really.” It’s the beach equivalent of leaving one homework question unanswered on purpose just to stay humble.
Her third look switched things up with a brown off-shoulder one-piece swimsuit. Somehow classy and attention-grabbing at the same time. That takes talent. Most people put on brown swimwear and look like a melted chocolate bar. Livvy somehow made it look expensive.
And finally, she rocked a brown crop top with matching bottoms because apparently the photoshoot had a strict “no weak pictures allowed” policy.
Social media reacted exactly how you’d expect. Half the comments were people praising the photos, the other half were probably baseball fans pretending they suddenly care deeply about swimsuit photography because Livvy is dating Paul Skenes.
Convenient timing, fellas. What makes Livvy’s rise even crazier is how fast it happened. She first debuted in SI Swimsuit back in 2023.
And honestly, Livvy figured out the modern celebrity formula perfectly. Be athletic, be marketable, post strategically and break the internet occasionally.
Mission accomplished!
At this point, SI Swimsuit might as well reserve a permanent spot for her every year. Fans expect it now like taxes, playoff arguments, and somebody claiming they’re “quitting social media” before posting again 14 minutes later.
