The demise of retired LAPD officer Mark Fuhrman, a key player in the O.J. Simpson murder case, is being mourned by Ron Goldman’s father and Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister. Fred Goldman, Ron’s father, told TMZ:
“Anytime anyone dies, it’s a shame.”
Tanya Brown, Nicole’s sister, told TMZ,
“This is a big one and a huge loss.”
In the O.J. murder case, Mark famously found the bloody glove. Later, when the defense proved he had used the n-word, Mark destroyed the prosecution. After fighting throat cancer, he passed away in Idaho on Tuesday.
Tanya and Fred both told us that they don’t hold Mark responsible for O.J.’s acquittal. Following the O.J. trial, Mark was found guilty of felony perjury, making him the only person ever found guilty of any crime related to the killings of Ron and Nicole.
Tanya states:
“I think Mark’s legacy should not be based around our trial. He did good outside of the trial and we all make mistakes.”
“I don’t wish death upon anyone and I think he did a lot of good in his life and people need to focus on the good he did. It’s another chapter of Nicole, gone.”
Mark was seventy-four.
