In a bizarre viral video that is sweeping social media, a “incredibly stupid” woman was caught stealing an orange and blue Knicks garbage can in New York City.
Horrified onlookers watched as the woman, dressed in jeans shorts, a blue New York Knicks shirt, and an orange hat, dumped a mountain of rubbish from the container onto the sidewalk and marched off with the can.
Before the video finishes, she joins someone else dressed in Knicks gear; it’s unclear if they were together. According to the NYPD, they have not received any complaints on the incident and have not commented on any investigations.
Following the announcement of the trash cans, there was a lot of internet speculation that they would be quickly taken by ardent fans who wanted to possess a piece of history.

This is not the first instance of a Knicks fan being caught acting inappropriately following the team’s NBA championship.
At The Canyon of Heroes on Thursday, a woman climbed a streetlight pole and threw another woman who was already perched to the ground, sparking an X-rated catfight.
The displaced woman then pulled her opponent’s pants down, exposing her orange Knicks thong, and repeatedly punched her buttocks while she twerked.
