Haley Cavinder And Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson Marry In Miami

Influencer Haley Cavinder officially married Dallas Cowboys player Jake Ferguson in a glamorous Miami wedding over the weekend, giving fans plenty of stunning photos and enough relationship content to keep Instagram busy for days.

The couple has been together since 2023 and got engaged in April 2025. Now they’ve officially made it to the finish line, or, depending on who you ask, the starting line.

The wedding had all the ingredients of a modern sports celebrity fairytale. Miami sunshine, luxury vibes, beautiful outfits and social media content, and probably at least one guest secretly checking fantasy football rankings during the reception.

The funniest part of their relationship story remains how they first connected.

To this day, Haley and Jake still can’t seem to agree on who made the first move.

‘She liked a couple of my pictures, the typical social media thing, and then I slid into her DMs,’ Ferguson told GQ in a post-wedding interview.

‘She liked all my pictures! She was living down in Miami at the time, and my parents live in Fort Myers Beach. We had talked on the phone a little bit, and I was like, “Hey, I’m going to be down in Florida. Would you like to grab dinner and do something?”

‘It was pretty immediate for me. I was like, yeah I want to marry her.’

Cavinder’s twin sister, Hanna, shared an emotional message to her sister on social media after the wedding, writing: ‘From sharing a womb to standing beside you on your wedding day, being your twin is the greatest gift God has ever given me.

‘Watching you marry the love of your life was a moment I’ll always cherish. Forever my soulmate.’

Imagine getting married and still debating who slid into whose messages first.

Cavinder and Ferguson exchanged bands from Brilliant Earth. The couple also decided that they would not allow kids at their wedding party so that the 27-year-old Ferguson’s high-profile teammates could let loose a bit more.

‘I knew for a fact my little cousins would be asking Dak Prescott for a picture,’ Ferguson said of his teammate, the Cowboys quarterback.

‘I just didn’t want that to happen, because I wanted him to let loose a little bit.’

Meanwhile, Cowboys fans are hoping Jake can bring the same success to the football field that he apparently brought to wedding planning. No pressure.

As the newlyweds begin married life together, one thing is clear: the debate over who made the first move isn’t ending anytime soon.
