Jordyn Woods And Karl Anthony Towns Didn’t Follow Knicks’ “No Sex” Policy During Playoffs

The New York Knicks had a simple idea during their championship run: focus, lock in and win games. And according to reports floating around, that even included a so-called “no sex” policy during the playoffs.

Yes, that was apparently part of the conversation. Basketball, but make it monk mode. But not everyone was buying into the idea.

Enter Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Jordyn, who is engaged to Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns, recently addressed the topic during an appearance on “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.” The hosts brought up the rumored rule after Knicks owner James Dolan allegedly suggested players take a 10-week break from sex during the team’s championship push.

Jordyn’s reaction? Let’s just say it didn’t sound like someone preparing for a 10-week meditation retreat.

“I can’t say that I abided by it,” she said with a laugh.

Jordyn joked with Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones about the recommendation. She said she understood its purpose and knew the goal was to help Karl-Anthony and his teammates “lock in.”

“Some players can’t lock in,” the ladies smiled on set like girlfriends.

Jordyn and KAT’s approach seemed much more grounded. Focus on life, focus on the relationship and focus on basketball when it actually matters.

Not overcomplicating things.

The Knicks, meanwhile, went on to win the title anyway, which probably says more about basketball talent than any off-court “policy” ever could.

In the end, the story became less about rules and more about how weird championship narratives can get when they escape into the internet, because every playoff run needs defense, offense, teamwork, and apparently a viral rumor about personal life restrictions.

Just another day in modern NBA storytelling.
