Players like Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley, and Dwight Howard had a game canceled even before a result was announced.
Recently, Beasley had been in the spotlight. The 37-year-old caused a stir by leaking images of the just finished UFC Freedom 250 dome. However, that paled in comparison to what transpired on the court.
It all began during a point in the game when Beasley and Howard were fighting for possession. Before long, both players started acting aggressively, which made things awkward. The game quickly lost steam when the two engaged into a violent altercation.
BREAKING: The Big3 refs are forced to end the game after multiple ejections.
Michael Beasley ejected for dust up with Dwight Howard. Lance Stephenson ejected for throwing punches at Jordan Crawford.
This led to a forfeit due to Miami not having enough active players. Pure… pic.twitter.com/WgmStDl5Yf

To exacerbate the situation, Stephenson struck Jordan Crawford with a powerful strike after committing a hasty foul. Both Stephenson and Beasley were ejected by the officials due to the unwelcome distraction. Miami 305 lost the game via forfeit with a score of 39–30 after being down to just two players.
The official BIG3 account on X stated:
Lance Stephenson and Michael Beasley both ejected. Miami 305 down to two active players game over by forfeit
This was undoubtedly not how Miami would have preferred to begin their championship defense. In the meantime, Beasley and Howard had already started dating before the first game.
They have both been suspended for one game.
