The San Antonio Spurs may have a new rookie sensation in Carter Bryant, but during a recent game, it wasn’t the young basketball player who had fans doing double takes. No! It was his mom.
While Carter was busy trying to impress coaches, teammates, and the entire NBA universe, his mother casually strolled into the arena and somehow became one of the night’s biggest attractions. That’s a tough break for a rookie. Imagine working your entire life to make it to the NBA only for mom to steal the spotlight before halftime.
Dressed in an outfit that left very little room for imagination, Carter’s mom had cameras finding her almost as often as they found the game action.

The rookie probably just wanted people talking about his jump shot, defensive effort, or future potential. Instead, he found himself trending because his mom showed uup teasing fans with her ‘goodies.’
To be fair, parents have every right to support their kids. And if they happen to show up looking fabulous while doing it, that’s their business. Still, there seems to be an unwritten rule that NBA moms should avoid becoming the main storyline. Carter’s mom apparently never received that memo.
The internet, of course, reacted exactly as expected. Screenshots circulated everywhere, comment sections became comedy clubs, memes appeared within minutes. At this point, the internet works faster than emergency services.
Meanwhile, Carter continued doing his thing on the court, trying to focus on basketball while the online world debated whether his mother had won the night’s unofficial MVP award.
One thing is certain: Spurs fans came to watch Carter Bryant but they left talking about Carter Bryant’s mom.
