Around 7 AM PT, the SWAT team arrived in Burbank, California. Before being released by the police, YG was held throughout the response. Burbank SWAT provided assistance while CHP took the lead in the situation.
According to reports, police were carrying out a search warrant as part of their investigation into the death of Drakeo the Ruler. YG, who had a falling out with the late rapper but denied any participation, is related to the home.
YG was taken into custody during the search warrant and then freed. The Game and YG are slated to square off in their “Compton Forever” VERZUZ match.
