The NFL community was devastated to learn over the weekend that Ed Oliver, a standout defensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills, had lost his two-year-old son earlier this summer. After Oliver’s son drowned at his North Texas house, an investigation was launched to learn more.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office’s Homicide Division has now declared the death “accidental,” and no charges will be brought against anyone, according to TMZ Sports.
Oliver was keeping the personal tragedy quiet while his family dealt with the unfathomable loss of his son’s death back in June. Regretfully, the incident was made public after a farmer started posting information about it on social media.

Allen stated:
“It’s very sad in how it came out. It makes me very sad and angry at the same time.” “It’s very unfortunate how it came about. I appreciate (those) that knew and didn’t want to bring it up. It’s no one’s place to really let that out there except him and his family’s when the time came for it, but we roll now and be there for him as teammates.”
It is a terrible circumstance and regrettable that the news came to light in the manner that it did. When Oliver and his family were prepared to share the news, they should have been the only ones to do so.
