Hilary Duff Compares Her Career To LeBron James’ During Philly Concert Amid Player’s 76ers Move

Hilary Duff has apparently decided that her latest music tour has something in common with LeBron James‘ basketball career.

The pop star made the comparison during her Philadelphia concert. And honestly, it is not the matchup anyone had on their bingo card.

Duff’s tour has been moving from city to city, while LeBron’s career has famously involved some major changes of scenery. Now, with JJames moving to the Philadelphia 76ers, Duff apparently saw an opportunity, and she took it.

During her Philadelphia stop, Duff joked about the similarities between her musical journey and LeBron’s career. Apparently, moving around the country with a microphone is basically the same thing as changing NBA teams.

Close enough!

The comparison comes at an interesting time for Philadelphia basketball fans. LeBron’s move to the 76ers has already created plenty of excitement around the team.

Then Duff showed up and basically said, “Wait a minute. I’m doing something similar.”

Suddenly, Philadelphia had two major attractions: one plays basketball, the other sings and both know how to make an entrance.

And Philadelphia fans probably appreciated the crossover.

The city loves sports, loves music and loves celebrities who know how to entertain a crowd.

Duff delivered all three. The funniest part is imagining the scouting report.

For now, Duff can enjoy her Philadelphia moment. LeBron can focus on basketball, and fans can enjoy the strange but entertaining crossover between two worlds that usually stay far apart.

After all, in Philadelphia, apparently everyone gets to be LeBron for a day.
