Bill Belichick’s Girlfriend Jordon Hudson Steals Show At UNC’s Opener Against East Tennessee State

Bill Belichick may have been watching football, but Jordon Hudson was clearly not planning to sit quietly in the background.

The 25-year-old girlfriend of the legendary coach was front and center at North Carolina’s home opener against East Tennessee State on Saturday. And judging by the attention she received, this was not exactly a low-key Saturday afternoon.

Hudson was spotted on the UNC sideline before the game. TMZ also shared video showing her around the team ahead of kickoff. She was dressed in North Carolina gear and looked very much like someone who knew the cameras were nearby.

Meanwhile, the Tar Heels were busy doing what they were supposed to do.

They destroyed East Tennessee State 35-3.

The victory moved UNC to 2-0. So, while the players handled business on the field, Hudson was getting plenty of attention on the sidelines.

Hudson, who manages Belichick’s career opportunities outside of football, has kept a low profile on social media as UNC made headlines for a series of staff shakeups.

She didn’t attend UNC’s opener, when the Tar Heels defeated the TCU Horned Frogs 15-10 in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Ireland on Aug. 29.

Mike Lombardi, UNC’s general manager and longtime friend to Belichick, resigned from his position on Sept. 3 amid an ongoing internal investigation.

He was placed on paid administrative leave during the school’s general counsel and an outside law firm’s investigation into a human resources complaint against Lombardi.

Belichick and the UNC football program announced in early August that his son, defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, was on medical leave and out indefinitely.

Steve did not travel to Ireland with the team.

Hudson’s appearance was hardly surprising. She has been a familiar face around Belichick and his football world. Still, seeing her front and center at UNC’s home opener was enough to get social media talking.

Photos from the game showed Hudson proudly wearing North Carolina gear as the Tar Heels cruised to victory. She looked ready for game day. The only thing missing was perhaps a headset and a clipboard.

Then again, giving her a clipboard might create even more headlines.

Belichick, meanwhile, had the much easier job of watching his team win comfortably. The Tar Heels never seemed particularly worried about East Tennessee State. By the end, UNC had turned its home opener into a very one-sided affair.

For Hudson, however, the game became another public appearance in the spotlight.
