Deion Sanders is one classy guy. The Colorado Buffaloes defeated Georgia Tech 14–13 on Thursday nite to start the 2026 college football season. However, Deion Sanders ensured that his teammates treated the event with dignity following the thrilling triumph.
Sanders urged the Buffaloes to tidy up after themselves before departing while addressing his team in the locker room. Additionally, he asked them to show Georgia Tech respect as the Yellow Jackets advanced Colorado to the very end.
Sanders instructed his team:
“Let’s make sure the locker room is clean when we leave. Let’s be respectful, don’t say nothing crazy about our opponents because they fought their butts off,”
After that, Sanders focused on his players, complimenting them on their perseverance throughout the match.
With a collective response from the players, Sanders stated: “I love you, I appreciate you, but more than ever, I’m proud of you and I never gave up on you,” “Yes, sir!”
