Malia Nummerdor in Florida was taken into custody on allegations of animal sexual activity after her separated husband discovered home security footage of her purportedly performing a sexual act with their pet dog, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
On September 11, Erik Nummerdor claimed on Facebook that his estranged wife, Malia Nummerdor, had participated in sexual acts with the family dog, based on Malia’s arrest affidavit acquired by PEOPLE.
A sheriff’s office detective examined posts and comment threads that, as per the affidavit, featured Erik claiming he had caught Malia involved in sexual acts with the dog in their house and that he had photo and video evidence capturing the purported behavior.
During an inquiry by the detective on Sept. 14, Erik stated that he had set up two surveillance cameras within the home, one in his bedroom, to find out who was stealing money from a coin container.
The detective stated in the affidavit: “He stated the bedroom camera was visible, displayed a blinking red light, and was known to household members,” “The camera recorded continuously in rolling intervals, overwriting older footage.”“I reviewed the images and observed an adult female, identified by Erik as Malia, nude from the waist down, positioned with the dog in a manner consistent with sexual activity,”
Upon examining footage from the camera, he states he discovered a video showing his wife in sexual activity with their pet dog, Ranger. He supplied officials with screenshots from the recording.
Erik agreed to provide the sheriff’s office complete access to a laptop that held the surveillance files. Erik informed investigators that Malia refuted any sexual actions and asserted that the pictures did not feature a dog, despite his insistence that the video evidently displayed Malia and Ranger.
On Tuesday, September 15, officials interrogated Malia, 38, regarding the video. Officials claim she seemed intoxicated and admitted to being affected by drugs and/or alcohol, as stated in the affidavit.
