Tua Tagovailoa’s Wife Annah On If He Has A Burner Account

Tua Tagovailoa may be an NFL quarterback, but apparently the internet briefly decided he was also running a secret social media operation.

The drama started after Tua appeared to leave a positive comment under one of his own Instagram posts. The internet did what the internet does best: it grabbed the tiniest detail and turned it into a full investigation.

Was Tua secretly complimenting himself? Was he hiding behind a burner account? Was he spending his free time pretending to be one of his own fans?

Social media detectives were ready for answers.

Thankfully, Tua’s wife, Annah, stepped into the conversation.

Annah explained that she left the comment — which read “We’re so proud of you!! You got this ❤️.” — under a snapshot of the quarterback in his new Falcons uniform that was posted on Tuesday.

“No burner account!” Annah wrote under the post. “I was busy with the kids this morning and forgot to switch back to my account.. He’s busy at work as he’s said he doesn’t have social media and I post on his behalf! Will pay more attention next time 🤦🏽‍♀️.”

Her comment is pinned under Tua’s post, which was captioned, “For the A 🫡.”

Having a burner account is not exactly the wildest thing in professional sports. Athletes are constantly dealing with criticism online. Some probably have secret accounts just to read comments without getting dragged into the chaos.

But Tua apparently does not need one.

The confusion came from a positive comment that appeared under one of his own Instagram posts. That was enough for fans to start connecting imaginary dots.

Apparently, if you compliment yourself online, you must secretly be yourself.

Makes perfect sense. Annah’s response was much simpler.

No secret Tua fan account, no elaborate digital disguise, no quarterback sitting in the corner at midnight typing, “Tua is actually underrated,” while pretending to be somebody named @FootballFan239.

Just social media doing social media things.
