Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski has come under fire again for his party habits, and how he carries himself out in public.
Gronkowski was ripped for being videotaped in Vegas partying and wrestling with a broken arm. Former Patriots linebacker Willie McGinest suggested someone talk to Gronkowski before something bad happens.
One Patriot has spoken out, but it’s not really to bash Gronk. Guard Logan Mankins is cool with Gronkowski, and as he told ESPN Boston, as long as Gronkowski is not out getting DUI’s, he’s cool with Mankins.
“As long as he’s not getting DUIs and doing things that are against the law…” Mankins said Tuesday according to ESPNBoston.com’s Mike Reiss. “I don’t think he’s hurting anyone. Hopefully he doesn’t hurt his arm. Then that would be bad. Gronk is a big meathead that likes to party and play football.”
I guess that sums it up. Mankins has a point. For everything Gronk does, he seems to always have a driver in place or somewhere to crash if he is inebriated.
