Robert Griffin III was seen at the Redskins draft party and the star quarterback wanted all his fans to know he was making great progress in his rehab.
Griffin III was seen doing jumping jacks and being active for the fans. He told Skins fans that he’s continuing to make good progress in rehabilitation from reconstructive knee surgery and then dropped something even more encouraging.
RG3 according to The Free-Lance Star told fans that he can run “a little bit,” and plans to play week one against the Eagles.
“We’re having a great draft right now, and I’m all in for Week 1, just like you guys are right now,” Griffin said, via the Free Lance-Star. “You guys saw me jumping. I mean, I can run a little bit. I’ll be good. No worries. I’ll take it slow, but in the same time, I’ll be ready to go.”
The Redskins and RG3 have acknowledged that he won’t rush his recovery, but I wonder how much strain the pressure of getting back for week 1 is putting on his body.
