This is a big season for the Detroit Lions.
After winning just 4 games in 2012, the Lions have kept the off-season buzzing with their additions of Reggie Bush and Glover Quinn. The subsequent claims by Bush that the Lions can win the Super Bowl certainly don’t help temper the high expectations for this squad headed into 2013.
A key to it all will be the continued progress of defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Not just his on the field play, but many have called for Suh to become more of a leader on this generally young team. When asked about his leadership skills recently, Suh had this to say.
I’m a player that goes by my actions and leads by my actions,” Suh said, via ProFootballTalk.com. “I have an affectionate way of being able to corral somebody, to go along and understand what I want and what I need from them and we can work together and get to where we want to be.”
Never heard of someone leading with affections, but whatever works. Wins on the field are the biggest key so if those come, Suh can be as affectionate as he wants.
