The Oklahoma City Thunder are (5-4) since Russell Westbrook went down. The all-star point guard won’t be coming back anytime soon, so it’s up to Kevin Durant to carry the load.
Durant is averaging nearly four more shot attempts per game in Westbrook’s absence. He plans to cut it down some.
“I’m not doing enough to help them,” Durant told The Oklahoman. “I’m shooting too much. I’m shooting too many 3s. I’m not helping them out at all. So it’s not on them.”
Expect Durant to become more of a facilitator, ala LeBron style.
