After committing to Florida on National Signing Day, five star recruit Cece Jefferson didn’t fax in his National Letter of Intent like most recruits usually do. This caused many coaches and fans in Gainesville to worry that Jefferson was having second thoughts and may end up deciding to take his talents elsewhere.
The worries only intensified when Florida’s defensive line coach decided to take a job with the Miami Dolphins and rumors started swirling that Jefferson’s father didn’t want him to sign with Florida. Well all of Gator Nation can rest easy, as Jefferson faxed in his NLI today and is officially a Gator.
A big 5-star finish for #UF's 2015 class. RT @CoachMcElwain Want to officially welcome @cecejeferson7 to the Gator Family!

Florida had to sweat it out a bit with Jefferson, but he is officially going to terrorize SEC quarterbacks in a Florida jersey. Jefferson and Martez Ivey give Florida’s recruiting class the much needed boost it was sorely lacking going into signing day.
