Days after having his MVP chances written off by the Pelicans injury woes, Anthony Davis took out all of his frustrations on the poor Atlanta Hawks.
The All Star and Olympian scored 43 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished three assists, nabbed four steals, and blocked three shots against the Hawks, becoming the first player since David Robinson in 1994 to reach numbers in a single game.
Unfortunately for New Orleans, it wasn’t enough for their first win of the season.
The visiting Hawks won 121-115 with their normal balance, as the team shot 53.2 percent from the field with seven players scoring at least nine points.
