Lil B is all about causing waves — so it shouldn’t be a shock that one of the biggest Warriors fans is set to make music with Cavaliers star, Iman Shumpert.
During an appearance on the Warriors World podcast this week ,Lil B discussed his music, and need to play Kevin Durant one-on-one.
“He definitely respects the Warriors and respects what’s going down in the Bay Area,” Lil B said on the podcast, before talking about how Shumpert’s teammates almost got cursed last season for stealing his cooking dance. “LeBron [James], Kyrie [Irving], and J.R. [Smith] almost got cursed, but Iman being the representative of the Cavs and knowing where the swag came from, he immediately cleared things up. It’s been good ever since.”
“I’ve been working on my game, working on my shot, really just dealing with the backboard, embracing the backboard, working on my drives, and learning more about the game,” he said. “I actually just read the NBA rules. I’ve been reading the rules of the NBA and making sure, even if I’m playing streetball, I’m just trying to train and play the best, most honest ball I can.”
The Base God wasn’t done there, throwing some salt at James Harden as well.
“He’s inconsistent,” he said. “He’s not a team player at all. He’s hard-headed”—and also mentioned how he’s still waiting on Kevin Durant to play him 1-on-1.
