Heading into the 2016-2017 campaign, many are pointing towards the Utah Jazz as one of those teams to look out for in the western conference.
The Jazz haven’t made the playoffs since 2012, but they were awfully close this past season, as their playoff dreams came to a screeching halt on the last day of the regular season.
As Utah looks to snap their playoff drought, they’ll need guard Alec Burks to remain healthy because when he’s on the court, the former Colorado prospect is a problem for opposing defenders.
In 25.7 minutes per game, Burks averaged 13.3 points per game, while shooting 40 percent from distance.
Just recently, Burks held his fifth annual basketball camp at Grandview high school, where Burks spent his entire high school career at.
Grandview is located right outside of Kansas City.
After his camp, I was able to catch up with Burks in an exclusive one-on-one interview inside Grandview’s locker room.
