According to the Washington Post, the FBI called MMA fighter, Fedor Emelianenko, in for questioning for his connections with President Donald Trump; Vladimir Putin; and Trump’s infamous personal attorney, Michael Cohen.
According to Emelianenko’s manager, FBI came to their hotel room Tuesday night last weekend for questioning:
The FBI came to the hotel looking to talk to Fedor and they were very nice, came in to speak with Fedor for a few minutes, spoke to me, very cool guys, and that’s all I can really say about it. Again, the FBI did come to the hotel, they found us, knocked on the door.
Hundred percent, kind of surprised.
The connections date all the way back to 2008, when Emelianenko signed a deal with Affliction Entertainment.
President Trump had an ownership stake in Affliction Entertainment’s fight league and Michael Cohen was the CEO of the league.
Emelianenko fought Frank Mir in Bellator 198 Saturday night and defeated him in the first round.
