On Sunday at the NBA All-Star Game, Meek Mill delivered a solid performance that fans in Charlotte were feeling. Someone who was feeling a different way about it was Michael Rapaport, who said Meek is a good story but the performance was trash and not even a top 20 rapper in his hometown of Philly.
Rapaport recently called into Shade 45 to talk with Sway about the Meek controversy. He changed his thoughts quickly and said that he shouldn’t have said Meek was a trash rapper. This comes after Meek went in on Rapaport on Twitter for saying he has no business speaking on the culture and that he can get trashed himself.
Rapaport said he didn’t use the right word and wants to take it back. He went on to say it’s not valid or true and was a stupid word to use. He also praised Meek by saying he’s on his way to do bigger things outside of hip-hop. That has been the case already as he recently started the criminal justice reform group Reform with Jay Z and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
