Another year, another turnover chain for the Miami Hurricanes.
During Saturday’s anticipated game between Miami and the Florida Gators on ESPN, the Hurricanes forced a turnover in the first half, which meant it was turnover chain time.
The turnover chain tradition started in the 2017 season to give incentives to the defense. Since then, it took on a life of its own and became a viral movement.
Photos surfaced on social media during the second quarter, showing the details of this year’s Turnover Chain, which incorporates the famous U logo while adding Miami’s area code of 305 to the chain.
Miami also decided to step it up this season by creating Touchdown Rings to add to the Chain.
Personally, I think the Turnover Chain from last year with the mascot Sebastian was my favorite. The Touchdown Rings adds a new touch to the swag.
Twitter gave their thoughts to the new chain & rings for the Miami Hurricanes.
