A University of Tennessee football player is now refuting claims that he shot himself in the leg.
Brandon Davis, a redshirt sophomore defensive back, was shot in the leg over the weekend. It’s unknown on where he was when he suffered the gunshot wound shortly after midnight, but after reading over the reports, this isn’t just some regular ole case.
Witnesses say it wasn’t a random shooter who wounded Davis, but it was Davis himself who pulled the trigger and caused the injury.
Davis went to Twitter to tell his side of the story, shooting down the witness claims, and proclaiming he didn’t shoot himself in the leg.
A classic situation of he said she said.
Police are still trying to figure out what all went down.
