BREAKING : Two of the Best Playmakers Of Miami Dolphins Won’t Face the Bills

Although Jaylen Waddle and Raheem Mostert practiced on Friday, they are not expected to play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.

When it comes to their best weapons, the Miami Dolphins will not be playing at full capacity offensively against the Buffalo Bills.

Multiple reports state that two of the team’s top performers, tailback Raheem Mostert and receiver Jaylen Waddle, will not participate in Sunday night’s crucial season finale against the Buffalo Bills due to ankle injury.

For the second week in a row, the Dolphins will rest their top rusher and second-best receiver.

Mostert examines his ankle

Mostert has been suffering with knee and ankle problems for weeks, so his participation in Friday’s game wasn’t surprising as he usually showed up for on-field practice on Thursday or Friday.

After testing his ankle during practice last week, Mostert—who leads Miami with 1,012 running yards and 21 touchdowns—was not given the all-clear to play and missed his first game of the season. It will be his second missed game, according to the Bills.

Waddle is absent

On Friday, Waddle, who has 112 receptions for 1,014 receiving yards and four touchdowns, tested out of his high ankle sprain for the first time in two weeks. He’s followed the plan and taken part in each walk-through this week.

Waddle, however, appears to be limping, and his route running must have been clumsy.

In order to prevent Mostert and Waddle from suffering a setback that may have limited their availability for the playoffs, the Dolphins probably made the decision to rest them for an additional week.

If Waddle misses a second straight game, Cedrick Wilson Jr., Robbie Chosen, River Cracraft, and Braxton Berrios will be expected to play a bigger part in the passing game.

Tyreek Hill of Miami Dolphins

The team’s top receiver, Tyreek Hill, returned to practice on Thursday after being given a personal day to deal with the fire that damaged his house on Wednesday. Tyreek Hill is anticipated to start on Sunday night.
