Brandon Marshall On How MetLife Stadium Field Is So That That It Ended His Career

One of the most important parts of a football stadium on any level is having a good field.

If you don’t, teams, fans, and coaches will all be upset with the field conditions and your stadium will start to have a reputation for being a bad stadium.

For the last few years, MetLife Stadium, where the Giants and Jets play, has been getting a reputation for one of the worst fields in the NFL and former NFL Pro Bowl WR Brandon Marshall is adding to that.

While speaking on the field conditions at MetLife, Marshall says he blames the field for ending his career saying

“That was pretty much the last of me,” Marshall said of the ankle injury that ended his Giants career. “I felt like I could’ve played a couple more years, you know? That play was over.

I snapped my deltoid,” Marshall said. “That’s hard to do. That’s like a car accident. I knew it was over.”

Marshall isn’t the only player to speak on the bad field conditions and if they don’t change things he likely won’t be the last.
