Before Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson’s fight on Saturday night, punches started flying. A huge altercation broke out multiple times during their weigh-ins, and Devin Haney’s father seemed to be in the thick of one of them, trying to break it up.
Following Lopez and Stevenson’s WBO World Super Light title fight, it took place on Friday at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

After a furious argument, many men started punching each other, and several cameras caught the mayhem as it erupted close to the stage.
Bill Haney, the father of boxing phenom Devin Haney, can also be seen in the fight on camera trying to defuse the tension.
But the altercation didn’t stop there. Later, another fight broke out close to MSG’s exit doors, but it was broken up by a few onlookers. Even before Friday’s fights, tensions were already high. Terence Crawford and Lopez’s father got into a verbal argument after the final face-off, and Stevenson attempted to approach Lopez directly on stage during the press conference.
