After defeating the Timberwolves with 45 points on 75% shooting from the field, Kawhi Leonard went viral. All in the course of a workday.
The Clippers defeated the Timberwolves 153-128 in Minnesota on Wednesday night, becoming the first club in NBA history to return to.500 after dropping 15 games below that threshold. Kawhi Leonard was the night’s main attraction. He put the team on his side with yet another outstanding effort and finished it off with a truly humorous postgame celebration.
Leonard was completely unstoppable, even though the final score accurately reflected the T-Wolves’ lack of enthusiasm in defense that evening.
But what truly made it noteworthy was Leonard’s response. While greeting Timberwolves reserve Joe Ingles, Leonard noticed some extracurricular activities going on and brought them up. In the broadcast, Leonard can be seen pointing and exclaiming, “Hey, a fight!” before he begins to approach the scene while grinning.

Leonard doesn’t react to anything at all. Thus, this open, out-of-character incident is rendered much more hilarious.
After the game, Mathurin disclosed that he wanted to acquire the game ball for Sean Pedulla, a rookie guard for Los Angeles, who scored his first NBA points in garbage time during the last minutes of the fourth quarter.
