Paul Pierce’s shot was outstanding.
Amar’e Stoudemire’s shot, according to Jeff Van Gundy, was “STROKING” even though it didn’t count.
But neither compared to the failed attempt by Nate Robinson to jump on Paul Piece’s back after the he put the dagger into he Knicks.
Lil Nate didn’t just fail once, but twice.
The second time resulted in him almost busting his head on the Garden’s floor. Adding to the unintentional comedy is Pierce acting like he doesn’t even notice Nate jumping on him. He shrugs him off like a husky groupie at an All-Star Game.
The Knicks are playing great ball and Amar’e is playing like Shawn Kemp circa 1996 right now minus the kids, but they still have a ways to go to get on the Celtics level.
