Greg Hardy should stick to his day job, if ever gets that back.
According to Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review, Hardy is working on his rap career while the Panthers are paying him to not play.
Hardy was recently spotted in a video with Memphis-based rapper Ja Alan spitting a few verses.
Ja Alan, a Memphis-based rapper, on Thursday posted a portion of a video shoot in Charlotte. In the snippet, Hardy, aka Mac Carl Jr., name drops LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and uses the line, “crack a bitch.” It’s unclear what the exact meaning of that lyric is, but it may not be the best choice of words considering Hardy’s current legal situation.
The Panthers are paying Hardy around $770,000 a week to not play football, while he awaits his scheduled Nov. 17 jury trial on charges of assault on a female and communicating threats.
He should actually be finishing up the final two games of a six game suspension. Hardy was convicted by a judge in July on those charges, but because of the appeals process in North Carolina, his appeal is actually a new trial.
