Over the weekend, 50 Cent praised Khabib Nurmagomedov’s epic win over Conor McGregor two weeks ago and also criticized Dana White and UFC for not punishing McGregor as much as Nurmagomedov for their huge brawl with each other’s team after the fight ended. 50 also publicly offered Nurmagomedov $2 million to leave UFC for Bellator, as he has a merchandise deal with the company.
TMZ Sports caught up with Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz about the offer and he thinks it’s disrespectful considering the level that he’s at now after defeating McGregor. He thinks the offer is disrespectful but they’d talk if it’s anything over $50 million. As of now, he views the $2 million offer as flat-out garbage. Abdelaziz does respect 50’s success as a musician and businessman though.
Abdelaziz also said he’s open to Nurmagomedov fighting Floyd Mayweather in the octagon as he recently called out Mayweather since they’re both undefeated and he picked Nurmagomedov to lose the fight against McGregor. Abdelaziz was also very vocal about McGregor’s inappropriate, racist, and Islamophobic comments by McGregor about Nurmagomedov. Abdelaziz is also very confident in Nurmagomedov getting the win as he thinks Mayweather would get his ass beat.
