The Spider-Man movie franchise has been a roller coaster for almost two decades to the point that when another Spider-Man movie comes out we all sort of hold our breath.
It appears the creators that Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse knew what we thought because within the first 20 minutes of the movie it addresses many of the things that we have hated about movies in the past.
Including..

The thing that makes this movie better than probably every Spider-Man movie ever made is it takes the one thing that ultimately makes Peter Parker and all the Spider-Men great and leans into it.
Spider-Man doesn’t get the breaks and frankly most of his life is miserable. While most Superheros have a tragic backstory, only Spider-Man is still dragged even after he is a superhero.
This is the best use of Peter Parker in this movie as he was trying to get out of his funk to help the star of the movie Miles Morales.
The world has been ready for a fresh take on Spider-Man for years and Miles is the type of fresh and modern look at Spider-Man that has been missing. Hopefully, at some point, he will make his way over to MCU.
Similar to the Spider-Man video game these fresh takes on Spider-Man has put so much life into the characters it will garner a bring a new legion of Spidey fans.
There is a reason a 100% Rotten Tomatoes.
DO NOT LEAVE EARLY BECAUSE YOU WILL MISS THE GREATEST END CREDITS SCENE OF ALL TIME.
