“Tank” Davis is intensifying his conflict with his former management by using social media to discuss Floyd Mayweather Jr.‘s legal issues in Dubai, adding a new chapter to their already developing rivalry.
Mayweather’s camp has not yet provided an official confirmation. International media did, however, report that the former world champion was detained by Dubai authorities on vague grounds.
Later, via his X, formerly Twitter, account, Boxing Hall of Fame elector Rick Glase verified the story, adding,
“Just got off the phone with my guy in Dubai, he told me that Floyd Mayweather is definitely being held by the Government court system there as he owes a substantial amount of money in Dubai.”
When Mayweather did not provide any updates, supporters of the former welterweight champion were eager to cast doubt on “Tank’s” assertions. But the boxer answered right away,
“He gotta pay them people that money back… if I’m lying, tell him to go live rn (right now).”
Davis’s latest strike
Rather than putting the issue to rest, Davis just shared a screenshot of a website named Gossip of The City on his Instagram Stories. You can see in the picture that,
“Floyd is being held by government officials in Dubai. He’s trying to work out something with them to be able to return home.” “He (Mayweather) tried to leave today..they said ‘Nope, sit still before I f*ck you up.'”
