In a recent Instagram live, Soulja Boy couldn’t resist laughing a little at Diddy‘s expense. The rapper’s realization that he was wearing the same sweatshirt as one of his friends set everything in motion. Soulja Boy is seen filming himself while driving a Sprinter in the video, which went viral on Monday.
Soulja Boy then goes on to criticize Meek Mill and Diddy after telling his fans that he and his friend are wearing the same hoodie.
“Aye, man, just ’cause me and this n***a got the same hoodie, mane, No Diddy, mane,” “I ain’t on that Meek-Mill Diddy s**t. Ain’t that right, gang?”
“On gang, we ain’t on that s**t,” Soulja’s friend replied
“I ain’t on no Diddy s**t, man,” Soulja adds. “He just so happened to get the same hoodie I got, bro. I ain’t on that Diddy s**t, bruh.“
After news of Diddy’s alleged sexual assault surfaced earlier this year, the phrase “no Diddy” began to be used colloquially in place of the previous one, “no homo.”
Why did Meek Mill come up in Soulja Boy’s rant?
Because of a back-and-forth he had with Soulja Boy earlier in the year, Meek Mill was mentioned in the video.
Rap mogul Diddy allegedly had sex with a rapper when producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones sued him in February for unpaid labor, sexual assault, and harassment.
The identity was withheld, but since Meek Mill was mentioned online as a “Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj,” followers started accusing him. Following Soulja Boy’s altercation with Metro Boomin, Meek Mill spoke, saying:
“Soulja if you say you’re gonna smoke somebody and they see you and actually smoke you it’s self defense. Y’all losing touch if reality for some likes and clout insane.”
Soulja Boy was prompted to respond to this and wrote: “Didn’t Diddy f**k u in the a*s?”.
Well, there’s no stopping Soulja Boy from trolling.
