I think some people forget the Lakers are the defending champs, have gotten deeper and arguably better during the offseason.
Just in case you thought Kobe was losing any of his competitive spirit, check out this video from over the summer while Bean was speaking at The London School of Basketball.
The Eastern conference is loaded by all the free agent movements, so the West might be a little easier than in years past. That bodes well for the Lakers chances of a 3-Peat.
I think we have learned never to bet against Darth Kobe.
