Sometimes when you want a bag of Red Hot Riplets and an Arizona Sweet Tea, you don’t have time to put on your proper burglar attire. There are a lot of things you can do in your pajama pants.
You can’t drop the kids off at school, run to Walgreens for some milk and I know a lot of the high schoolers actually wear them to class at times.
We can add robbery to that list now.
The clerk at Luke’s Convenience Store told police that shortly after 8:30 pm ET, a white man wearing a black mask and gloves, a green hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head and blue pajama bottoms with Red Sox logos on them, entered the store and demanded money, the Patriot Ledger said.
The suspect reportedly pointed a knife at the store clerk and then reached over the counter and grabbed a sum of money from the cash register.
I think this is where white robbers and black robbers differ, I think a black man would have definitely cared about his attire when robbing a joint. They do have security cameras and if a brother is going to be on the 10pm news he wants to look good in his ski mask.
I can not confirm or deny this act of violence had anything to do with the Red Sox 0-4 start, but if I knew the robber was going to the store I would have asked for him to grab some Lemonheads.
