Andre Rison Wanted for Back Child Support, Accused of Being Deadbeat Dad

by | Posted on Friday, September 2nd, 2011

Former NFL wide receiver Andre Rison, best known for his antics off field instead of his ability on the field, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for failing to pay child support in the state of Arizona.

Rison, the five time Pro-Bowler who famously dated the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and infamously had his Atlanta mansion burned down by Lopes, allegedly owes more than $10,000 in back child support. Per the indictment, Rison has failed to make payments for more than 2 years.

Ann Birmingham Scheel, acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona stated, “This indictment sends a message to others contemplating this same decision that failing to meet your financial obligation to your child is unacceptable and you will be held accountable.

Guys, let this be a lesson. No one is exempt from the long arm of the law so keep your long arm in your pants if you can’t or won’t be a father

Rison, a Flint, Michigan native, is currently working as the head coach football coach at Flint Northwestern High School. If convicted, Rison could serve up to 2 years in prison.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.

Our Government is operating so far outside of its design parameters that this type of discussion becomes futile. In my opinion the place to start is reducing tax which would force massive reductions in power and programs, bringing the govt. more in line with the founders structure. Only then can a discussion vis-a-vis federal and state govts. become worthwhile.
