Video: President Barack Obama Says NBA Lockout Has Him “Heartbroken”

I am not heartbroken over the NBA Lockout, maybe because I don’t really take the NBA serious until after the All-Star break and Football season (both college and NFL) is reigning supreme right now, but once we get into 2012 and there are no NBA games all sports fans will be heartbroken.

If the entire season is cancel considering it was at the height of its popularity will let you know how little David Stern cares about the fans.

Add President Obama to the long list of people who are frustrated by the lack of a new CBA between the millionaire players and billionaire owners.

Wow, so think it’s mostly the owners fault for why we might lose the entire 2011-12 NBA season?

You should read Stephen A. Smith’s take on the lockout on ESPN’s website. It might change your opinion a little.

Great post, I completely agree. If I may deviate off subject and emphasize that despite having to pay taxation to the government and sending our citizens to combat and die in every war, Washingtonians have had no voting representation in Congress and have had to seek approval from people they did not elect on all legislative in addition to budgetary matters. That my friends is crime against society, and America. Let’s hope it will change soon. Cheers.
