This has been the plan all along for the Knicks.
Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire are great players, but not great enough to beat the elite teams in the East. You add Chris Paul to the mix and now you have a Championship contender.
Without CP3 the Knicks reminds me of those Hawks teams that featured Dominique Wilkins, fun to watch but will ultimately come up short.
If you believe the New York Daily News (not sure that I do) the new labor agreement will allow the Knicks flexibility to make a move on Paul.
We will see, but the good news is we are at least talking about this as oppose to the lockout.
