Brent Musburger’s Creepy “Honey Badger” Obsession (Video)

This reminded me of that Seinfeld episode about “Jimmy”.

Jimmy always referred to himself in 3rd person.

“Jimmy plays ball”

“Jimmy Put the Moves on Elaine”

“Jimmy is getting ANGRY!!”

You get what I am saying.  Except it was Musburger who had a weird obsession with the Honey Badger aka  Tyrann Mathieu. It is even weirder when you watch the video.

But here is the real crazy part.

The Honey Badger isn’t even a BADGER!!

I didn’t really need the exclamation marks, but nothing else about the BCS Championship game was of any interest to me. Here is the real definition of a Honey Badger.

The honey badger (Mellivora capensis), also known as the ratel, is a species of mustelid native to Africa, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. Despite its name, the honey badger does not closely resemble other badger species, instead bearing more anatomical similarities to weasels. It is classed as Least Concern by the IUCN due to its extensive range and general environmental adaptations. It is a primarily carnivorous species, and has few natural predators due to its thick skin and ferocious defensive abilities.

So it is more like a Weasel than a Badger.
