Dwight Howard Says Things Need to “Change” With Magic, After Meltdown Against Celtics
Anytime your girlfriend says……
“Some things need to change”
What she is really saying is….
Dwight is no different.
Howard intimated that teammates didn’t stick to their roles Thursday night’s loss to Boston.
“We didn’t play the right way and we have to change,” he said.“Everybody just can’t come down the floor and feel like they have to take the game over. You just have to play team-ball and play the way we want to play. We didn’t do that.”
Howard included himself in the meltdown inwhich the Magic lost a 27-point lead.
The Magic are going to keep Dwight at least to the All-Star game since they are the host city, but after that they need to cut their losses.
I don’t think Orlando is a bad franchise and there are far worse places to play in the league, but Dwight has his mind made up, so use the blueprint of the Denver Nuggets, get as many quality players as you can and move on.
